Prices for new solar in Germany down again

Stiftung Warentest, a German consumer protection NGO founded by the German government in 1964, reports that prices for rooftop solar have gone down again massively in the last couple of months and are now at an average EUR 2360 per kilowatt. That gives investors in these systems 6 to 8 percent per year of return on their investment, guaranteed for 20 years. Sounds like an attractive idea, even not considering the fact that this investment helps the environment.

They warn consumers to compare prices, since there are large differences seen on the market.
