I learn that right now they are using diesel generators and that building a coal power plant would cost $1 billion and take 18 months.
They could buy quite a lot of solar panels for that money, or if they need 24 hour supply, a rather big concentrated solar power plant.
I wonder if the Mongolian government includes these options in their discussion of the matter.
