SCO lawsuit

Dan Gillmor points to this OSI position paper on the SCO lawsuit against IBM.

IBM is no small player by anyone's standards. They should be able to look after themselves in any such lawsuit. But just as the community of developers works with IBM to improve Linux code, they work with them to defend against attacks based on intellectual property.

And that assistance impresses me as being rather powerful. SCO is getting a taste of what it means to fight alone against a world of enemies.
